As of January 2, 2021, Sonoma County is currently on the state watch list due to COVID-19 and the associated rates of positive tests, hospitalization rates, as well as ICU bed and ventilator availability.

GUSD is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our students, staff, and families. This page is a resource for information relating to GUSD response to COVID-19, future school re-openings, and other related documents.

 

REPORT CORONAVIRUS HEALTH/SAFETY CONCERNS

GUSD strives to maintain all health and safety protocols at our school campuses. While we know that there will a learning curve for all of our students and staff, please let us know of any repeated or prolonged instances of non-compliance to established guidelines as set forth by the CDC, Sonoma County Department of Health Services, and the GUSD COVID-19 Prevention Plan; we will bring this to the appropriate school or department administrator's attention.

Informational Pediatric Vaccination Videos from SCOE

Please be advised that County Health is still finalizing their list of school site clinics for pediatric vaccinations.

We have two YouTube videos developed by county health to educate the community on the safety and efficacy of pediatric vaccines. These videos are available in English and Spanish. These 2-minute video are interviews with local physicians who are well-respected in our communities.
